Jerry and Brenda were born again in 1979 and they immediately began to serve in their local church. By 1983 they felt the call of God on their lives to pursue further ministry. After bible school in 1985 they returned to Waverly where they have been serving the current congregation. Over the years they have been children's pastors, associate pastors, elder, teachers in the church school, and, since 1992, senior pastor. They still have a heart for leaders around their region and love serving and being an encouragement to local pastors. They have three,grown, married children and six, soon to be seven, beautiful grandchildren... life is good in rural Missouri!
Tom and Bev have lived in Carrollton, Missouri since 1988 and have been a part of VCF since 1989. Their hearts desire is to help people reach their fullest potential in God. Tom is an elder, principal of VCFS, and a Home Group leader. Bev is part of the worship team, teaches keyboarding in the school, and is involved in financial record keeping in the church. Tom and Bev have two grown children, and two busy grandsons. Both of the Scopel' children are serving God at VCF.
